Google pixel 7 features a fingerprint (under display, optical), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, barometer. It’s operating system is based on Android 13 and Google Tensor 2. The release price is at $490.00, € 542.00, £ 468.00 , and ₹ 45,000 across the globe. The Google Pixel 7 stays true to the Google’s features over specs policy.
It has a more refined design than its predecessors and hardware across the board
The face unlock feature is there with the in-display fingerprint scanner being much better. However, there is no telephoto camera and the battery life is still no as reliable as before depending on use.
It however, retains the visor-style camera array with the bar across the back, consisting of aluminum instead of glass. The new visor design picks up pocket lint if the phone is not cased. Especially on the Lemongrass and White model, the visor is no longer black, and the accumulation of dust and debris can be noticeable and difficult to clean, also likely to collect scratches as when it is excessively rubbing on your sleeve.
When it comes to the display, the Google Pixel 7 screen can reach a peak brightness of 1,400 nits, giving extra visibility boost when one is out in the sun. When viewing HDR content, the Pixel 7 can reach up to 1,000 nits of brightness allowing you enjoy content on your screen for longer periods of time when you’re outdoors.
It offers a 1080×2400 FHD+ screen resolution and a refresh rate of up to 90Hz, hopefully subsequent production will get a 120Hz refresh rate. There is a lot of significant improvements from previous productions like the Pixel 6, and also some similarities.
It is good to know that Google has not compromised on the features in Pixel 7, so users are not disappointed with it. While we anticipate Google Pixel 8, it is safe to say that Pixel 7 is within standards of the Google flagship product.
