How to buy games on Meta Oculus Quest 2 in VR
If you are already in virtual reality and you want to get into a new game fast, the best way is to buy a game through the Oculus Quest 2 storefront.
The store is accessible, just press the Oculus button on the right controller and select the store icon from the Toolbar. If you already added a payment method to your Oculus account and purchases in the past, you can purchase games directly from the Quest 2 store without leaving the virtual reality space.

If a game is marked Cross buy, you can buy it on the Quest 2 store and also get access to the desktop version. Or buy through the desktop app and also get access to the Quest 2 version.
Meta maintains a list of cross buy games but the safest way to ensure a game works on your PC is to buy it through the Quest 2 store on vR or the mobile app with Quest 2 as the active headset.
