Instagram is a social media platform where we all can share and connect with people we know or people we don’t know. It is a public social media platform, which means that by default any content you post will be viewed by the public.

Steps on how to see private Instagram account
1. Send a request to the account
The simple and expected thing to do if you want to access a private Instagram account is to send a follow request to the account. When the user sees the request and accepts it, you can see the content of their page.
Most people just set their account to private because they don’t want some certain people having access to them. So hopefully, if you are not one of such people, your request will be accepted. You can send a direct message to the owner to get their attention and make them accept you request.
2. View through a friend’s account
Another simple way to see a private Instagram account is to view the profile through a friend who is already following the private account. This is one helpful tip, though not easy to do because you will be invading the privacy of the friend’s account you are using.
3. Search their profile handle on Google
Google stores up an Instagram’s account content, photos and videos. So searching the profile’s handle on Google search will give you access to their account. Although the content you will find will be their contents from when their account was public, but this method is much better. Simply type the profile handle on google search; you can add Instagram on your search query. Once the results come up, click on images to display old public photos and posts.
4. Use a third party Instagram viewer app
There exists a good number of third party apps you can use to access Instagram private accounts. They include: Glassogram, EyeZy, mSpy, private insta, Insta ripper, Insta looker. These apps are available and can be downloaded.
Note that using third party apps are unethical and can be harmful to your device because they are not vetted for spyware, virus, harmful cookies that can have access to your personal data. 5. Create a fake account
You can create a fake account and then send a follow request to the account you want to have access to. You can create the account using the face of someone they don’t know; that is if you don’t want the account owner to know it’s you. Or you can create an account and use the face of someone they know to get them to accept request faster.
There is a reason people set their account to private, so ensure that the reason why you want to access the account is a good reason. Some methods are unethical like creating a fake account, but if your reason is good enough (like bursting a criminal), then you are allowed to use that method.
