Blood Trail is a computer game developed by Electrovore. In this game, the player takes the role of a heartless killer for how, it is mainly an action game. Players are tasked with annihilating a fanatical cult.
It is really regarded as ” the most violent game” across all Virtual reality platforms. It is too violent, and an age restriction have been put on it, kids can not play Blood Trail.
However users are clamoring for this game to be made available for Oculus Quest 2. For now it is still on Steam. Blood Trail is ineligible for Oculus Quest store.
Re: Quest: We are still in Early Access so for now, it’s ineligible for the Oculus Quest store. It’s also unlikely that the the current version of Blood Trail will perform well on the current standalone Quest, but future iterations could work and we’ll do it if we can! Thank you!

Series of questions have been thrown at the developers ever since they asked why Blood Trail is not yet on Oculus Quest 2.
They have confirmed that testing has begun for the game. They don’t know yet when it will be available or if it will ever pass the test. In further statements, the developers says they are still working on an update for PCVR which they promises will be out soon. They also promise to do a test for Quest 2 standalone.Up until now, in 2022.
Fans are yet to receive any more information on when Blood Trail will be available on Oculus Quest 2 since that time.
But there is an alternative where you can play Quest 2 with a link cable or Virtual desktop. The virtual desktop will be connected to your headset and from there users can access the game.Many users have proven this method works.
While we are still waiting for an official statement from Electrovore on when Blood Trail will be available on Oculus Quest 2.
- Use a Virtual desktop.
- Play it on Steam.
- Play on a non virtual reality platform.
How to play Blood Trail Steam VR game using Oculus Quest 2
You can play a Steam VR games on Meta (Oculus) Quest. You can connect Meta’s Oculus link cable to your Quest and a computer with the Oculus desktop software as well as the Steam app installed.
Once you have connected them, select Enable Oculus Link on your headset. Then run Steam from headset’s app library or computer desktop.
That way you can play Blood Trail on Oculus Quest 2.
Another option is to play Blood Trail on a non virtual reality platform. Like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Computer, or your Phone.
It might not be a virtual reality experience,but it’s something.
These alternatives could do while we wait for an official statement from Electrovore regarding when Blood Trail will be available on Oculus Quest 2.
