Siesta works

Do you have time in your busy schedule to observe this?

Research reveals those who create time for an afternoon nap the rate of heart disease is reduced in them than those who do not.

So many are of the business of relegating siesta to children and teenagers. Some teenagers and children are even too occupied by a day’s activity and do not have an opportunity for an afternoon nap. Gone are the days where kids are forced and strongly recommended by their parents and guardians to observe siesta.

If you’ve ever remembered the day or days which you had time for a short peaceful 30mins afternoon nap, tell me sincerely how you felt on that day afterwards. You must have notice a certain calmness and refreshing wind flow through your body, giving you more focus to run the rest of the day’s task.

Besides siestas are of immense benefits too the human body too, some of which include:

Provides a memory boost
Lowers blood pressure
Calms your nerves
Improves alertness
Enhances creativity
Boosts willpower
It’s better than coffee.

So whenever you have the time for it, do not skip it for something else that you feel is more important. Observe it as often as possible and you will be glad you did.
