There is no fingerprint sensor but has a face unlock identification. Volume button and power button is at the tow sides of the same corner of the frame.
Although this device uses the Android and MIUI 2.5, It has not said anything about update. There is no information about how many years of security software protection a user will get .
The device is made up of frame aluminum, the rear is made up of plastic and not glass back. However be assured that the plastic is pretty solid.
